A wedding DJ in Dubai usually plays a 4 to 5 hour reception: soft music while guests arrive, low background tracks through dinner, your first dance on cue, then an open dance floor that builds through international, Arabic and cultural blocks. Send your date and venue, and we send the wedding DJs who are free, with videos and a price.
Price: a standard 4 to 5 hour wedding package with sound and dance floor lighting usually costs AED 4,500 to AED 8,000. A DJ with a bilingual MC usually costs AED 8,000 to AED 13,000. See DJ prices in Dubai.

A properly built quote names the sound system size, the number of speakers, the microphones and how much setup time is covered. Cheap quotes often leave one of these out and add it back later.
How the night runs
- Guests arrive, 30 to 45 minutes: soft background music.
- Ceremony, 15 to 30 minutes: processional, vows and recessional cued to exact timing.
- Cocktail hour, 45 to 60 minutes: a lounge or acoustic set.
- Dinner, 60 to 90 minutes: low background tracks, speeches on a wireless mic.
- First dance and special dances, 10 to 15 minutes: agreed tracks and cue points.
- Open dance floor, 2 to 4 hours: the DJ builds the energy towards a peak before the close.
Build in a 15 to 20 minute buffer. Weddings rarely run exactly on time, and a DJ with a buffer can absorb a late speech without losing the room.
Music for a mixed guest list
Dubai weddings are rarely one genre. The base is open format international. With Emirati, Saudi or other Gulf family present, an Arabic and Khaleeji set is essential, especially for the dabke or zaffe entrance. South Asian weddings usually want a Bollywood and Bhangra block after dinner. Younger guest lists often ask for Afrobeat, and CIS families for Russian music. See the Arabic DJ page for more.
Add a live performer
A saxophonist or percussionist can walk in with you or lift the first 30 minutes of the party, then hand over to the DJ. See DJ with a live saxophonist. You can also book a female DJ for the whole night.
Venue checks before you pay a deposit
Hotel ballrooms may want their own AV team to approve or supply the sound rig, and most have a noise curfew after midnight. Beach venues need equipment that handles humidity and wind. Desert venues run on generators. The planning guide lists every check.
