You can hire a DJ in Abu Dhabi for a wedding, a gala dinner, a product launch, an end of year party or a private party. The same team that books DJs in Dubai plans your event in the capital, with travel from Dubai and the Abu Dhabi permit rules included in the plan. Send your date and venue, and we send the DJs who are free, with videos and a price.
Price: a standard 3 to 4 hour party set usually costs AED 2,500 to AED 4,500, and a 4 to 5 hour wedding package AED 4,500 to AED 8,000. Travel to Abu Dhabi is usually priced on top. See DJ prices.

Permits in Abu Dhabi
In Abu Dhabi, the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) handles entertainment approvals, not Dubai's DET. A private event inside a licensed hotel or venue is usually covered by the venue's own licence. For venues on Yas Island and elsewhere in the capital, confirm with the venue's events team which licence category your event falls under. Public, ticketed or unlicensed outdoor events need the DCT approval, and that is the organiser's responsibility.
Travel and timing
Travel within Dubai is part of a standard quote. Travel to Abu Dhabi is priced separately, so give the exact venue when you enquire. Allow for the drive when you set the arrival time, and agree setup and sound check time with the venue before the day. Large gala venues in the capital usually need a stronger sound system than a villa party, so check whether the house sound covers the room.
Music for Abu Dhabi guest lists
If Emirati or other Gulf family are on the guest list, ask for a DJ with a current Khaleeji and dabke set as well as international hits. See Arabic DJ. For a female DJ who can also make announcements in Arabic and English, see female DJ.
Venue checks
Hotel ballrooms may need their AV team to approve the DJ's equipment and usually have a noise curfew after midnight. Beach venues need equipment that handles humidity and wind, and power close to the booth. Desert venues run on generators. The planning guide covers each check.
